  MCP795WXX/BXX RTCC器件具有毫秒报警功能,以及支持极快速数据存取的10 MHz SPI接口,从而能够实现较长的MCU休眠和省电模式,电池耗电量更少。其他低功耗功能还包括仅消耗RTCC器件最小电流的两个事件检测输入,但当按下开关或发生篡改系统事件时即可唤醒MCU。此外,这些器件作为一个标准产品还包括三种非易失性存储器:EEPROM、SRAM和一个惟一的ID(订购时可指定空白或预编程MAC地址),可进一步减少元件数量和降低与序列化编程相关的成本。利用自动电池切换功能提供备用电源,电源故障时间戳可记录任何电源故障的发生时间和持续时长;而且这些器件具有广泛的数字微调范围,可补偿晶振频率因温度的漂移,从而能够在广泛的温度范围内实现精确计时。在使用第二个低频晶振的设计中,引导时钟选项可在上电时提供32 kHz的时钟频率,无需使用第二个晶振。

  MCP795XX SPI RTCC PICtail™ Plus子板(部件编号AC164147)将于2012年2月开始供货,届时可以通过microchipDIRECT(http://www.microchip.com/get/FU5C)订购。该板可以与Microchip的Explorer 16开发板(部件编号DM240001)和PIC18 Explorer板(部件编号DM183032)配合使用,能够帮助设计人员在其应用中演示MCP795WXX/BXX RTCC器件。
